It’s our first ever FAMILY DAY at Sydney Comedy Festival!
FREE roving comedy, FREE facepainting, FREE kids comedy competition for ages 5 – 17, a program of brilliant shows to choose from plus BEST OF THE FEST “PG” version – clean sets from top comedians!
There are so many shows to choose from – catch the bumbling antics of Artiste where Mr Bean meets the Mona Lisa; the hilarious calamity of Winnie Wizard in her high-energy interactive show for all ages; the seriously silly Signor Baffo who has been lauded by kids all over the globe and now makes his Australian debut and the ever popular Vegetable Plot as they venture into the Pajamazon Jungle – their award-winning musical comedy show packed full of veggie bangers, rotten jokes and irresistible ear worms.
Got a funny member of the family under 18 then we encourage you to take part in the “What’s So Funny!?” Kids Comedy Comp. Held in the Festival Hub Courtyard and free to ALL AGES of kiddos from 5 to 17 – guaranteed to be a good laugh for kids and parents alike. From fart jokes to scripted sets we want the kids to tell us – “What’s so funny?!”. Great prizes to win!

On Saturday 11 May 2pm as part of Kids & Family Day , Sydney Comedy Festival will be asking the kids of Sydney – What’s so Funny?! The “What’s So Funny?!” Kids Comedy Competition is FREE to enter, FREE to watch and promises a whole lot of laughs for kids and parents alike. There are seriously awesome prizes to win too – like a mentor session with a professional working comedian and a slot on the prestigious Comedy Store stage!
