Dr Jo Prendergast is a New Zealand based comedian, improviser, actor, author and Sydney trained psychiatrist. Jo is often tired!
Jo was nominated for Breakthrough Comedian at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards in 2020. She was long listed for the prestigious Billy T Award in 2023. Her multi award-winning debut comedy show ‘Jo Ghastly: The Cool Mum’ toured Australia and NZ in 2023 plus Gilded Balloon Edinburgh Fringe in 2024.

Jo is aiming to raise $5,000 through her shows to help Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) continue to provide their free support and resources for all Australians affected by breast cancer. This year more than 21,000 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
