This show is a love letter to unprofitable and unproductive pursuits. Where have all the hobbies gone? In a world of entrepreneurs and influencers every hobby is a side hustle, every moment a chance to monetise.

I can’t be sure if it's my age or the modern age, but I find myself doing things for the love of it less and less. The thing I miss the most is amateur sport. The drama and the glory of it. I once watched a woman named Fred sledge the A grade men’s Softball team so hard they cried. Have you ever watched men in three quarter pants cry? It might have been the best thing I’ve ever seen, and no one made a profit.

I want to write a show that celebrates passion without profit. All that said, I would like to make millions off comedy.
