Winner Best Newcomer 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival

Blake Freeman is one of Australia’s brightest new comedians, making a name for himself with his own brand of energetic and disarmingly honest comedy. Through his youthful energy and charismatic delivery Blake weaves charming stories, making the intensely personal relatable.

In 2018 he was hand-picked for Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s prestigious Comedy Zone and appeared on ABC TV's Comedy Up Late series, toured nationally and hosted his own radio show.

2019 proved to be a breakthrough year for Blake – his debut stand up show There's Something There  was nominated for, and won, Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s award for Best Newcomer, had a sell-out season at both the Brisbane and Sydney Comedy Festivals and travelled to the acclaimed Soho Theatre in London’s West End.

'This guy is live and direct and has the easy, candid demeanour of a man born to be a comedian. ★★★★½' Herald Sun

'Funny, likeable... spins a yarn with air.' Adelaide Advertiser

'Blake Freeman might be the find of the lot. With a cathartic rant about a past relationship, a blue but complex tale of sexual adventure and a winning energy, he capped off the hour to roars and cheers.' Herald Sun
