From wiping butts in hospitals (she's a nursing student), to kicking butts in the Sydney comedy scene (she's funny), this Improv Theatre Sydney-trained improviser and 2018 NSW Raw Comedy State Finalist will be doing her finest stand up and characters about her life and the shit she's seen. Literally.
After selling out her debut solo show at 2018 Sydney Fringe, With Two Dots is back this year with a tight session full of laughter and heavy thinking. But mostly heavy laughter. In With Two Dots, Zoë grapples with some hefty ideas: coming out, nursing, moving countries and Apartheid, all through a mix of sporting analogies, facts about Cyprus and her undying love of the 80s hit film, "Flashdance".
Zoë Sitas is a South African-born, Sydney-grown comedian who has studied under an array of internationally renowned UCB, iO, and Second City-trained improvisers at Improv Theatre Sydney. After bursting onto the comedy scene last year and smashing her debut Sydney Fringe, Zoë quickly went on to support Wil Anderson at the Comedy Store. With two-thirds of a nursing degree, and a natural flair for comedy with a political edge, Zoë Sitas’ debut Sydney Comedy Festival show, With Two Dots, is not one to miss.
“The future of comedy.” - Edan Lacey, Co-Founder of Improv Theatre Sydney.
"She has a wide-eyed, engaging and original stage presence." - Honi Soit, 2018
"Zoë is a newcomer who promises big things." - The Plus Ones.
