On the back of her sold-out solo debut, Dead Rite, absurdist comedian Sophia Morrison may or may not be currently listening to Cher’s 1998 hit, Believe. There may be tissues, there may be tears, but there most definitely is one heartbroken Sophia dressed in what looks like a Cher costume. After an undisclosed number of hours spent cry-singing, Sophia is finally faced with the real Cher’s question, “Do you beeeeeliiieve in life after love? (after love, after love, after looooooove).

In her newest work, Lovely, Sophia takes us on a silly adventure through the different stages of love. From raw all the way to well-done, nothing is too weird nor too sticky (don’t ask) in this comedic exploration of the second (ok, maybe third) best four letter word. Fuck. Shit, sorry, no, I meant LOVE.
