Shubha's got a bee in her bonnet. Actually she's got a couple of bees. But she's not actually wearing a bonnet. In fact, she'd be the first to admit she doesn't look her best in hats. Which is honestly a shame because hats seem great. And convenient. Whatever, look, it's more of a metaphorical bonnet anyway. And the bees are metaphors too, most of the time. But sometimes it feels like Shubha's got a whole frenzied hive buzzing around in her mind. Other times, it feels like she's just another drone in someone else's honey factory - easily replaced and ultimately forgettable.

And sometimes, when Shubha gets laser hair removal, it feels like a thousand bees are attacking her groin.

Hive Mind is a stand up comedy show that explores how an individual can feel obsessively compelled to stand out, to fit in, and to lead an important and meaningful life, despite overwhelming evidence that such things may not even be possible. And that may sound horrible and depressing, but it’s actually wonderful news!
Also, there will be jokes.

You have seen Shubha perform at her room Wolf Comedy, Giant Dwarf Theatre, and Gotham Comedy Club (NYC), if ya nasty. You have heard her on triple j, Radio National's God Forbid, and ABC Radio. You have read her by line at SBS Comedy.
