It's the end of the world. What better way to lift our spirits than with some old time religion and song? And who better to practice it with than everybody’s favourite youth pastor and local celebrity Jake Cherrytree!

The world is going to hell in a handbasket. I’m not talking about climate change or Korean nuclearisation. I’m talking like pretty much any second now Heavenly Father is going to bring this whole thing to an eviscerating end, and we’re going to have front row seats. Neato!

So Pastor Jake is putting on one final jamboree to get you right with the creator. He’ll be playing all our favourite songs, there will be readings, maybe even a chance for YOU to share a fond memory or two from our time together on earth. That’s all before we will definitely be strapping in as chaos and damnation rains down upon us. Cool huh?

He might not have the latest sound system, lighting rig or interpretation of the bible like his mates at the big church up the road have, but with his overhead projector, autoharp and semi original folk songs he’s going to tell you how to get saved!

(Bryce Halliday plays Pastor Jake Cherrytree. This next paragraph is less of a joke.)

Bryce has performed musical comedy shows at the Sydney Comedy Festival, Hayes Theatre, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe Festival. His impossibly eclectic resume includes being a musical director at The Annoyance, iO and Second City theatres in Chicago, producing the smash hit ABC podcasts Finding Drago and Alice Fraser Trilogy (Apple's Best Australian Podcast 2018) and being an audio engineer for international hit podcast Comedy Bang! Bang! For the last six years Bryce has been Sydney’s go-to improv musician and can regularly be seen at Bang Bang Rodeo at The Old Fitz.

"Mix the face of Brick-era Ben Folds, with the musical talent of Tim Minchin, with the stagecraft of Ross Gellar's music career and you've got Bryce Halliday. An adorkable juxtaposition of vocal simplicity and production complexity." - Broadway World

"Halliday is a witty and insightful performer and his songs are engaging and fun, with a little bit of very welcome reflection." - AussieTheatre
