What happens when the comic Adam Hills describes as a “living breathing joke machine", the comic hand-picked to open for comedy icons from Joan Rivers and Martin Short to Mark Watson, is diagnosed with cancer? What happens is a sparkling new hour of stand-up from David Smiedt that is both dark and affirming, real and raw, tight and taboo.

A regular on television, David is also the author of seven humorous books. His stand up show will entertain and uplift, with his tale of finding the funny in life. Show us your Scar at the show and we’ll donate $5 from each ticket to the Chris O’Brian Lifehouse.
